  • Any student who wants an alternative to a brick-and-mortar schools can find success with us.

    As educators, we believe that each child deserves to graduate on their terms and at their pace with the tools to excel after graduation. From struggling time management skills to technical difficulties, we’re here to help. Your child can be successful through virtual learning, and we will help them find that success!

  • We hire only the best, WI state-certified teachers, who have experience supporting a variety of students. They regularly use your feedback to adapt their teaching approach. Our teachers also have access to various curriculum tools such as discussion boards, online video presentations, and more to engage and improve their experience. 

    Additionally, our teams meet with your student throughout enrollment, guide them through orientation, and work to create structure in a new, independent environment. Student support teams are proactive to foster a sense of belonging, motivation, and confidence among our students.

  • A laptop or computer with these system requirements and reliable internet are all the supplies needed. All courses are web-based, and all materials are embedded within the curriculum. Presentations, videos, and other instructional materials will be linked and available to the student. 

    We also provide laptops for families in need as part of the enrollment process.

  • We are a free online public school.

  • That’s the joy of asynchronous learning! Our flexible program allows parents to structure the school day around their student and schedule.

    We do require that students login daily, and provide more robust structure for families who need it. Teachers offer optional daily live lessons, one-on-one meetings, or small group tutoring to review coursework.

  • We use BrightThinker curriculum as a base for our instruction. The BrightThinker overview provides information about student navigation, features, and tools available in the app.

  • In accordance with state attendance laws, students are expected to log in daily and complete coursework.

  • For virtual learning, you'll mainly need a computer meeting system requirements and reliable internet access. All courses and materials are online, requiring skills in web navigation, online meetings, presentation software, document writing, and basic typing. This format promotes independent learning, problem-solving, and adaptability, preparing you for future careers.

    We also provide laptops for families who need one as part of the enrollment process.

  • While virtual school isn’t for everyone, it’s a much more flexible and personalized experience when compared to brick-and-mortar schools. Students have the flexibility to complete their coursework at their own pace, with access to courses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While we do have to put more intention into community and connection building, we’re able to establish significant bonds without worrying about a classroom of 40 kids.
